Volunteer Recognition
In 2012, 174 volunteers logged 1,129 hours at Camp Neyati. Many thanks to the following organizations, corporations and individuals, who help in many, many ways:
2012
- Northwood University Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball Teams (October 19) – Numerous “Season of Caring” Service Projects
- Bob Draves - siren intallation, cabin repair work, replacement of barn porch roof, and many other projects
- Managerial Staff at Midland Community Center – beach and volleyball court sand improvement project
- Bill Reichenbach (camp neighbor) – plumbing work in SB-2
- Chris Owen (fomer Camp Neyati Board Member) – replacment of stall curtains in SB-1 and SB-2 (materials and labor)
- Kiwanis Work Team: Carl Edmunds, Bart Buechner, and Jim Ward-construction of storage cabinet outside SB-2
- Friends and family of Nola Hamilton - cleaning and grounds work
- Shiawassee 4-H Leadership Team – cleaning and grounds work
- In-Faith Work Team – repair to Craft Building ceiling and general grounds work

2011
- Midland Kiwanis Club – assembled wood bunks for cabins
- The Dow Chemical Company – time and materials for our new boat dock.
- Shiawassee 4-H - painting and grounds work
- American Missionary Fellowship (In-Faith) – painting and grounds work
- Students from Midland Education and Training Connection – grounds work
- Dow Corning employees in conjuction with United Way’s Season of Caring – barn insulation project
- Home Depot employees who volunteered time and materials for four new picnic tables
- Martin J. Wissmueller — shelving project in Craft Building, assembly of wood bunks in cabins, disassembly of benches in Dining Hall
